Tortillas

Home made tortillas. Great for tacos or making in to torilla chips.

Ingredients

  • 100g Masa Harina flour
  • 150ml of boiling water

Directions

  1. Mix the flour and water in a bowl
  2. Continue to add water a little at a time until you get a smooth dough that holds its shape - Add more flour if its to sticky
  3. Divide the dough in to four small, even balls
  4. On a counter top covered in parchment paper, place the ball under another piece of parchment and press flat with a frying pan.
  5. The tortilla should be 10 - 12 cm and few millimeter tick
  6. Heat a dry frying pan over high heat
  7. Place the tortilla on the pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side on
  8. Allow to cool before serving
