Sourdough Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 60g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 192g plain flour
  • 200ml milk
  • 80g starter
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Directions

  1. mix milk, eggs and vanilla in one bowl.
  2. sift in dry ingredients into another bowl
  3. melt butter
  4. add starter to wet ingredients and mix
  5. whisk wet ingredients into dry ingredients until fully combined
  6. Stir melted butter into mixture
  7. Let proof fro 30 minutes
  8. cook on hot griddle
    1. Flip the pancakes once many bubble have begun to form.
    2. If you want to add fruit or chocolate that is best done before flipping
