Ingredients

  • 250g self raisingflour
  • 60g unsalted butter
  • 2 TBS of caster sugar
  • 4 TBS of milk
  • 2 small cooking apples, grated

directions

  1. preheat oven to 220 Celcius
  2. cut butter in to cubes and keep in freezer before using.
  3. Sieve flour in to a bowl
  4. rub butter in to flour, until its like breadcrumbs.
  5. Add the apple and sugar and mix.
  6. Add the milk and mix in to a ball
  7. Roll out the mixture on a floured surface.
  8. Cut circles out with a cutter and place on greesed baking tray.
  9. Brush down with milk.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes in the oven, or until golden
  11. Allow to cool on a wire rack
