Galettes filled with garlicky sautéed mushrooms, cream and melted cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 galettes bretonnes
- 80g grated cheese (Cheddar, Emmental, or Gruyère)
- 400g mushrooms, finely sliced
- 1-2 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 100ml double cream
- Knob of butter
- Salt and pepper
Directions
- Melt the butter in a frying pan and sauté the mushrooms with the garlic until soft
- Add the double cream and heat gently
- Season with salt and pepper, then draw the pan off the heat and keep warm
- Place a galette in the crêpe pan and sprinkle a quarter of the cheese over the centre
- When the cheese begins to melt, spread a quarter of the mushroom mixture over the cheese
- Fold in the edges to make a square
- Serve with salad
