Japanese Iced Coffee

This is brewed with a regular v60 setup. You want the coffee ground slightly finer than normal v60, similar to aeropress. The Water to coffee ratio will be 15.75:1

Ingredients

  • 20g of coffee
  • 240ml of boiling water
  • 75g of ice

Directions

  1. Pre-wet the v60 filter
  2. Add 75g of ice to the jug and place the v60 on top.
  3. Add you coffee grounds into the rinsed filter
  4. Add 40g of hot water. Allow the coffee a 40 seconds bloom.
  5. Add 100g of water.
  6. At the 1 minute 30 mark add another 100g of water so the toal weight is 240g.

To serve pour the mix into another glass vesel. It can be served over Ice if desired.
