- 2 large eggs
- 80 ml milk
- 40 ml cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 4 thick slices of brioche
- stale bread is perfect
Directions
- Whisk the eggs, milk, cream and vanilla extract together.
- Place the mixture in a wide shallow dish
- Dip the bread in the dish and leave for 1-2 minutes
- Flip the bread and leave for the same amount of time
- Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat
- Once the butter is foaming place 2 slices of soaked bread in the pan
- Fry for 3 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy
- Serve with fresh berries and honey
